Approximately 7 years ago I attended a massage workshop, since then I have been practicing and attending training workshops while developing my skills and ability as a masseur. As part of my ongoing education I finished (December 2011) my 3000 hour practicum under the tutelage of a Certified Massage Therapist while studying various current publications on the healing arts: I am currently studying Bio-Energy Healing so as to incorporate the energetic healing principals into my work. What I enjoy most about massage, is the relaxing healing energy generated. It is always a pleasure when you get wonderful compliments from satisfied clients. 'Arthur's Style and Technique' I practice a combination of the Swedish / Deep Tissue Massage, as well as a few proven Bodywork movements and of course, a few of my own special touches. I provide in-call (here at my comfortable studio) or out-call (I can come to you) treatments. Since each person is different, I give clients a choice of what type of massage they would like. Some people may prefer a deeper athletic massage and others a more soothing gentle touch. Whether it is stress release or muscular aches, I work closely with my clients, instinctively feeling what is kneaded to put each person at ease. As an extra service I combine Aromatherapy principles using essential oils. I also do Smudging; which is the clearing / cleansing of the immediate space of all unwanted and negative energies by the burning of herbs which further add to the experience. Arthur's Out-call Service My out call service includes flexible appointments, travel time, a professional massage table, clean linens, organic essential oils, candle light, smudging, music and a friendly personality.
